Bidder Blocklist
Once integrated by Hubvisor’s dev team, you can block bidders or parts of your inventory.
To block a demand partner - or part of your inventories - you can create a New Rule here: https://lens.hubvisor.io/optimisations/bidder-blocklist
🤓 We recommend you give a name to each rule you create, in order to quickly see the reason/motive of the rule - for any user of Lens.
The steps to block a bidder:
Click on NEW RULE
Give a NAME to the rule
Select one or multiple BIDDER(S)
By default, a new rule will apply to your entire inventory. If you want to block this bidder only on some part of your inventory, you can select any value in the available dimensions.
Once finished selecting all values, click on ADD RULE
In order for the rule to be deployed for all your website’s users, click on DEPLOY
You will be able to find back this new rule in the Activity page as ADDITION.
The steps to block a part of your inventory:
e.g. skin demand because you saw a bug in displaying the ad creative, prior to contact us to modify the template.
Click on NEW RULE
Give a NAME to the rule
Select skin in AD FORMAT
Once finished selecting all values, click on ADD RULE
In order for the rule to be deployed for all your website’s users, click on DEPLOY
Note: you can either include or exclude selected values from the blocklist rule.
e.g. you want a bidder to be able to participate in the Prebid auction only in 3 countries:
Click on COUNTRY
Click on EXCLUDE
Select those 3 countries
Rules are ranked by Status (Active first) and Update date (Latest first).
STATUS is new: instead of deleting the rule you created (which can be long and annoying depending on the values selected), you can simply change its status from ACTIVE to INACTIVE.
You can also modify the existing rules:
Click on the rule
Change the different fields
One finished making the necessary changes, click on SAVE
In order for the rule to be deployed for all your website’s users, click on DEPLOY
The date of the rule will then change and you will be able to find back this change in the Activity page as EDITION.
